Design #81 -- This is a cool little design using circles. I have stitched the full circle then continued on the inside with a scallop. This design flows really well and stitches up quickly. Throw some curls and spikes in there for interest as well. I hope you have all been doodling even with the beautiful weather we are having. Quilt Canada was AMAZING! What a fabulous week we had. I love everything about my job. I feel so lucky to be able to do this everyday. Take care, we will see you tomorrow! #FMQ301

#FMQ301 Design #77 Hey everyone! Here's a cute little floral border idea for that little girl quilt. Consider adding a leaf in between each of the little flowers. Get crazy and add tendrils too! I love this one. It's so cute. I hope you like it! See you tomorrow :) #apqscanada #quilt #apqsquilting #longarm #freemotion #flowers

#FMQ301 Design #76 Todays design is a whimsical floral like design that would look great on any feminine quilt. I have stitched it quite plain because it is fairly small. If you were to be using this as an allover on a larger quilt, the motif would be much larger and I would recommend that you 'double up' the feathers (echo inside) stitch the outside first, then the inside before you echo out with the leaf shape. I have travelled with a simple loop from motif to motif. I hope you like it! Have a great night all!

#FMQ301 Design #75! Wow, only 25 to go in the 300 set of designs. Todays design is just fun. Kinda looks like octopus legs a little bit. The trick is to keep it all soft. No sharp points in this one. I have a big order of pantographs coming including my first 9 designs with Patricia Ritter at Urban Elementz. How exciting is that?! I hope you enjoy todays design. :)

#FMQ301 Design #74 Back at it!! So sorry I haven't been posting. Things at the studio are AWESOME and really busy! The rental program is seeing lots of new ninja quilters finishing their own quilts quickly and easily. It is so much fun to watch people "get it". Today's video is a simple 's' curve leaf that is a little over exaggerated to look more whimsical. There is no spine either which means you can just drop your needle and go! I hope you enjoy it. Take the time to doodle and we will see you tomorrow! :)
